Golf, Tennis, and Pickleball Tournament raises $150,000 for Programs That Empower Lives
Ability Beyond’s annual Golf, Tennis, and Pickleball Tournament was a tremendous success—raising more than $150,000! With 175 supporters gathering at Brae Burn County Club and Ridgewood Country Club, it was a beautiful day that raised funds for our programs that empower people with disabilities on their journeys toward independence.
The tournament was filled with memorable moments, from friendly competition on the greens and courts to the excitement of our live auction and the stories of impact from four individuals who are thriving in our Career Development programs in Connecticut and New York. Their heartwarming speeches are as a powerful reminder of the positive impact of employing people with disabilities and the benefits of having a diverse workforce.
Our heartfelt thanks to all who invested in our mission to discover, build, and celebrate the ability in all people. We especially thank our top sponsors: Barclays, Graham Capital Management, Paraco Gas, Peter DiNardo Enterprises, and Mt. Kisco Truck & Auto Parts.
We also thank our dedicated committee members for planning such a great event: Jim Kennedy (Golf Chair), Steve Finkelstein (Tennis & Pickleball Chair), John Capilli, Joe Clouse, Brian Douglas, Linda Hatcher, Amy Silva-Magalhaes, Patrick Sullivan, and Paul Vitti.
