Gala & Beyond
Our annual Gala is Ability Beyond’s largest fundraiser of the year and generates funding for many initiatives and enhancements that support the people we serve. This past April we honored The Finkelstein Family with the Robert S. Young Humanitarian Award. Two generations of the Finkelstein's have become staunch advocates for people with disabilities through the New York State Legislature and through generous support of Ability. Save the date for the 2026 Gala happening on Saturday, April 25th at the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury.
Golf, Tennis & Pickleball Tournament
One day - two states - three sports! Our annual Golf, Tennis & Pickleball Tournament was a tremendous success this past October. More than 175 players gathered at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase and Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury for a fun day of friendly competition, networking, and giving back! Thank you to the many sponsors, supporters, and volunteers for your generosity and time in making this a great event. Stay tuned for details on our 2026 Tournament!
Mental Health Breakfast
Our 2025 Mental Health Breakfast honored four remarkable heroes who are making a difference in the field of mental health. It was a morning of inspiration, connection, and community impact and we thank our generous supporters for making this year's event a huge success.
