Residential Living
Ability Beyond provides group homes, transitional housing, and supported independent living services for hundreds of adults with disabilities throughout Connecticut and New York. We strive to provide the best environment to meet each individuals unique needs.
A secure and welcoming home does more than meet a basic physical need for shelter. It goes beyond – serving as an anchor in a challenging world, providing protection, comfort, support and well-being.
Community Living Support
Based on each individual’s level of need, our residential programs in Connecticut and New York provide up to 24 hours of support each day. These supports may include rehabilitation, nursing, behavioral support and direct supervision by staff, depending on the unique needs of each individual we serve. In addition, we provide residential supports for individuals who have co-occurring mental health and substance abuse diagnoses. As with all of our residential programs, our goal is to integrate people with disabilities into the fabric of our communities.
For those who may require more intensive care, we have specialized residences that provide enhanced medical care. We also are leaders in creating state of the art environments for those aging with disabilities, to address a rapidly growing part of our population.
