Overcoming Barriers to Employment
Julie Sowash, Executive Director of our Disability Solutions division, recently discussed in a podcast – Scott in the System – how they help break down barriers to employment for people with disabilities with major corporations. Businesses that have worked with DS include Pepsico, Sychronogy, Oracle, Honewell, and more.
“Its about finding the right person for the right job, and that's what's really important,” Sowash said. “What we want from companies that we work with is a commitment to hire, to retain and to create a culture of belonging.”
Disability Solutions partners with businesses around the world as an extension of their recruiting team, human resources department and legal compliance staff. More than 5,000 people with disabilities have been hired as a result of their efforts.
