Help Us Recognize Our Brave Caregivers

Families are invited to recognize our Ability Beyond SUPER HEROES and show your appreciation for their dedication during these extraordinary days of COVID-19. Kindness, innovation and heroism are all in their day’s work as they care for your loved ones and keep those in their homes safe, healthy and happily engaged in activities and virtual day programs.
Over the last six weeks, many of you have shared your lovely thoughts with us about Ability Beyond staff members. We ask you to help us send a special message to our entire team by adding a personal note of gratitude on our KUDOS message board. If you click on the greeting card link below and click “add to board” you can leave your personal message, and remind staff just how essential they are to our community!  Click here to share your message: https://www.kudoboard.com/boards/ZfaitsJn

Your Advocacy and Support is Needed!

Thank you to those who answered the call for advocacy and wrote to your legislators. The Change.org petition below organized by one of our professional associations requests federal help for State and local governments – this one is for New York and already has approximately 7,000 signatures. Organizers are looking to get to 10,000 signatures before sharing with Governor Cuomo. Please take a moment to click the following link, sign and to forward to your friends and family members.  Click here to sign the petition: http://chng.it/WhyXt7C7nt
Finally, many have generously provided meals for our team working around the clock at our Leir Recovery Hub. If you have provided a meal already, our staff thanks you! If you would like to donate a home-cooked meal or through a restaurant offering contact-free pick up or delivery, please visit our meal train here at Mealtrain.com.
As always, email CoronaQuestions@AbilityBeyond.org with any questions or concern, and thank you in advance for your support! Our entire team is focused on keeping your loved one safe and healthy!
