Special Events
At Ability Beyond, our special events are more than just gatherings — they’re vibrant celebrations of the incredible potential in every person. Whether you're a passionate volunteer, a supportive family member, a generous sponsor, or a community champion, your involvement fuels our mission to discover, build, and celebrate the ability in all people.
By attending, sponsoring, or lending a hand at our fundraisers, you're helping us reach critical financial goals that directly empower the people we serve to go beyond expectations and achieve the extraordinary. Join us at one or all of our major fundraising events throughout the year.

Gala & Beyond
Our annual Gala is Ability Beyond’s largest fundraiser of the year and generates funding for many initiatives and enhancements that support the people we serve. This past April we honored The Finkelstein Family with the Robert S. Young Humanitarian Award. Two generations of the Finkelstein's have become staunch advocates for people with disabilities through the New York State Legislature and through generous support of Ability.
Golf, Tennis & Pickleball Tournament
One day - two states - three sports! Join us for our annual Golf, Tennis & Pickleball Tournament on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase or Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury! Enjoy a day of friendly competition, networking, and giving back! Whether you're swinging a racket or teeing off, your generosity helps support our programs that empower the lives of people with disabilities. Sponsorships, tickets and foursomes are available.
Autumn Breakfast
Join us for our annual Autumn Mental Health Breakfast on Thursday, November 13, 2025, as we honor three remarkable individuals making a difference in the field of mental health. It will be a morning of inspiration, connection, and community impact you won’t want to miss. Sponsorships, tickets and program ads are available.
