Buy-In Team

Purpose

To develop a process by which stakeholders would embrace, commit to and support Community Integration by utilizing all available community outreach resources.

Goals

To develop a process by which all involved stakeholders would embrace, commit to and support Community Integration by identifying all stakeholder groups and then developing a communication plan targeted to each group and then identifying and communication to their specific concerns and needs.

  • Conduct periodic stakeholder surveys to determine buy-in status and to solicit feedback and suggestions
  • Monitor consumer satisfaction, plan and conduct corrective action
  • Create a uniformed interest survey for each participant
  • Coordinates outreach efforts relating to CIP
  • Coordinate and monitor ongoing face-to-face and telephone contact with family members and community contacts
  • Prepare informational material for dissemination and carries out distribution to target audiences
  • Direct the activities and priorities of the CIP Delegates Group
  • Work with Training & Education Group to facilitate educational efforts

Relationship to Mission of Closing a Sheltered Workshop

The Buy-In team is responsible for solidifying the overall positive sentiment of all stakeholder groups regarding the changes around Community Integration by identifying all stakeholder groups and then developing a communication plan targeted to each group and then identifying and communicating to their specific concerns and need.

  • Report to the Steering Committee bi-weekly on the status of stakeholder buy-in, verification of information dissemination and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Directs the activities and priorities of the CIP Delegates Group
  • Work with the individual teams, Technology Group and Training & Education Team and carries out distribution to target audiences

Process

  • Establish your team members, their expectations, the timeline and mission
  • Establish standard meeting schedule and commitment from members
  • Identify your stakeholders
  • Develop your Buy-In Plan.
  • Develop Buy-In Plan items and assign to members for ownership. View Develop Buy-In Plan
  • Develop a method to ensure you are keeping a pulse on Stakeholder Buy-In at all time (i.e., making sure that people are bought into and feeling good about the project)
  • Test the effectiveness of your Buy-In tools from your Buy-In Plan to make sure they are working.
  • The Buy-In committee leader will report back to the Steering Committee at a frequency identified by the Steering Committee
